1967 born in Quanzhou Fujian,
2007 won the German art foundation to visit Europe,
2008-2009 was a visiting scholar at Tsinghua University,
2015 he was invited to give lectures and held personal exhibitions at the University of North Texas.

He has participated in art exhibitions at home and abroad for many times. The artistic achievements awarded the 1st, 2nd, 3rd session highest comprehensive literary award "Erythroidine literary award" of the first prize.
The publication of "The Heart Desired- Cai Yonghui Oil Painting and Watercolor Painting Creation Research", "About Minnan Painting" etc. four monographs, papers published in the "New Art", "Art Observation", in recent years, is committed to the promotion and dissemination of traditional culture, the representative works of "Nanyin Melody", "Water Moon and Mirror Flowers", "Flowers in Warm Spring", “Cool Songs”, etc., as well as the cartoon image of Hester cultural ambassador – Hui Nv A Fang" series of works, showing a typical local cultural style. The series of works of art are increasingly concerned and collected by the cultural and artistic institutions at home and abroad.
